Patti's Kitchen and Bath Design's product is hardwood and softwood cabinets. The range of the choices of woods being pine, birch, oak, maple, ash, cherry, or hickory. Patti's Kitchen and Bath Design mainly builds a framed cabinet with a melamine or plywood interior. This means the front of the cabinet is made of solid wood consisting of styles and rails and the interior is joined to the front by dadoing and gluing. The melamine interior is white and is stapled, dadoed, and glued together to form a box. Kitchen cabinets are made in modular units, in varying widths to suit the specific design. The doors that go on the fronts of the cabinets can vary in styles and are brought in unfinished from a manufacturer in New Brunswick. The doors and fronts are stained or painted in a variety of choices, then they are lacquered giving them a lasting furniture finish for years to come.
All hardware is available locally and countertops are also available locally depending on what the customers choose. Postformed tops are ordered to fit a kitchen from a local shop, woodedge countertops are made in the back shop, and corian edge tops are brought in from Robar. Patti's Kitchen and Bath Design is also an Authorized Corian Dealer. The corian is custom made in Dartmouth and Patti's Kitchen and Bath Design work with the client and the corian fabricator to get the customer a beautiful result.
