The farming operation has been in production of seed potatoes and cereal crops for rotation for 38 years with an increase in acreage in production up to 500 acres of the most common varieties of Seed Potato production and 400 acres in cereal crops. The management is considering developing new varieties, new methods of fertilizing, also new technology in storage and grading for maximum quality Seed Potato.

The complete acreage of seed potatoes are fed with special foliar fertility and high calcium treatment for high quality & vigorous seed. (The evidence & results can be obtained from JIWAN PALTA potato reseacher from the University of Wisconsin and/or Steve Holland researcher from Agric Services of Pasco Washington).

Varieties available for 2004 Planting year are: Andover, Atlantic, Chieftain, Nordonna, Norland, Norvalley, Goldrush, Snowden, Yukon Gold and Morning Gold.

Today, with the high cost of production, it's worth it to plant high quality seed. (Cannot afford the risk other than obtaining the best seed).

The operation has its own bulk transportation facilities in Canada to facilitate purposes and better control. The operation is also in the sales of agricultural chemicals and liquid fertilizers for the area. The operation exports 75% of its seed potato production to Cuba, South America and United States - balance of 25% in Canada.
