J.C. Mechanical Contractors Ltd. started in 1971 by John Corlett as a small plumbing & heating business servicing the residential market, school board and small commercial projects. By 1974 they had expanded to accommodate larger commercial projects. Then in 1981, J.C. Mechanical purchased a complete sheet metal shop, including ducting and HVAC to complement the operation. Robert Corlett took over as President in 1996.

J.C. Mechanical Contractors Ltd. has continued to expand each year, adding modern equipment and new methods to become a leading mechanical contractor. In 1998 they moved to a modern new facility comprised of 1200 square foot business office and 4800 square foot production shop with houses their newest addition, a DUCTMASTER DM-610 PLASMA CUTTING SYSTEM.
